Blackboard is an application that allows faculty to add resources such asPowerpoint, Captivate, video, audio, animation etc.for students to access online, enhance teaching and learning efforts.It is used for online teaching, learning, community building, and knowledge sharing.You can use any model for teaching your online course because Blackboard Learn is open, flexible and it focuses on the success of students'.

What is good about blackboard is that you can use many of the tools in Blackboard Learn to accomplish the tasks you're familiar with in the f2f setting.In Blackboard Learn, you can post messages to this same task. Teachers can set  a time to design a class where students get together  and stay on track.You communicate and interact with students with online tools.Students interact, communicate, and collaborate entirely online.You assess student work online.

Canva

Hi everyone,

You can find the link below for canva. Canva is like a modern version of power point. It is more colorful, detailed and time-consuming. It can be practical if the teacher prepare a couple of them before and keep it to use later. Virtual Reality (VR)

Hi everyone,

It is virtual but it also provides reality in the context.Not only for the games, it can be used for discovering new places,cities,countries and whatever you can think of. It creates new resources to teach and learn. That's why we can use it in language teaching efficiently. Also, students get the information much better if they enter a 3D environment that makes everything more fun, exciting and enjoyable. This environment allows you to explore, travel without leaving the classroom, visit what you want to learn without moving and much more.
They enjoy their learning time more. Beside these advantages, the best thing is for students to know that there's an enormous world to discover around them. As a result, it widens students' perception of world, fastens learning process and makes the learning process fun, enjoyable and permanent.
I suggest you to try on VR glasses to find out what it means actually.

Augmented Reality (AR)

Hi everyone,

AR allows us to interact with the physical world around us through the addition of digital content that is integrated on that physical world. This content can include any information such as video, directional guidance, historical content, or a virtual personal guide.In teaching ,it can be used in almost all skills of a language. You can add 3d model, video, link etc. to each type of material. It enriches the content of the lesson and increase the creativity of students.

On the internet, there are numerous games that users can try out on their own.It has been developing day by day and it seems we'll be seeing many qualified content including AR in the near future.

This time, we're going to have a look at Flipgrid. It is very easy to use.You record a video and share it. In a class environment,teacher chooses the topic and everyone can record his video or voice to participate the discussion e.g. Students also can add some text and emoji on the video.Pls check the link below;see you.

Padlet

Hi everyone,

Padlet is a useful and easy to use application. Teacher can share the link after created the activity and students can access and add posts. For example I prepared a map and post a couple videos about 2 or 3 cities. Teacher can ask students to research about the traditional foods of the city and post it there.So, in a dynamic context, they can see and learn from each other’s posts.Not only reading or writing, they can record their voice and share them and it provides permanent learning.

Hi,

In this post, I want to share my impression on storybird. It makes you to create a storybook with full of pictures.You can design the position of the pictures and the writings. It is a very colorful site which you can pick among a large number of pictures. When teaching a language, it could be very useful for post-reading activities.They can change the end of what they've read so far and make something new. Also, it helps students to understand the sequence(introduction,body and conclusion) of a piece of writing. Students learn to arrange, organize and develop their ideas with the guidance of their imagination. Here is an example of what I've done, pls check it out!

Moodle is a dynamic learning environment which teachers can create individual websites. It is used to create online lessons and courses with different types of activities. The core design of Moodle is inspired by a social constructivist pedagogy. There are many advantages of Moodle which are;

• Teachers can follow all students’ progress by charts.

This time, I've tried hot potatoes program. I call it programme because it's not a web site or an online platform.It's a very simple software which can work offline.
